Experience is critical to our understanding and knowledge. We only learn what to do, but what not to do. At Innovate High our students will have the opportunity to experience their education in and out of the classroom. Whether it be hands-on lessons or internships in the community, our students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and wisdom through practical experience.
- Students will communicate effectively orally, in writing, visually, and in technical modes of expression
- Students will gain real-world experience in and out of the classroom
- Students will have the opportunity to engage in an outside the classroom experience. Students will foster relationships through internships and mentorships, and gain key skills in the workplace.
- Students will gain experience in the community and with community leaders
- Students will demonstrate an appreciation of others’ diversity and embrace their uniqueness
- Students will establish physical, social, and emotional boundaries and respect for the boundaries of others
